For the welsh panel, you had to have proved yourself with youngstock bred both in the show and sale ring and have judged unaffiliated shows, plus you had to be a member for at least 10 yrs. The nps only accepted breed society panel judges and still took 3 yrs even to get on to the b panel, but that was then and this is now. Anyone can breed for the showring and sale ring with considerable success ( numbers game ;- ) and judge unaff, and be a member for 10 years +, doesnt stop you you from being a complete pillock and having little knowledge. ;D Signed: Divorced from said offending pillock :-)

I could give you a list of the said 'pillocks' from when I was on the panels, and I still see some very bad judging today and from the most unlikely of people. Hey!! maybe to some people I was one of those pillocks - bovvered???
Nevertheless, I only ever judged the animals exhibited, never faces and certainly not what they were wearing..ewwwwwwwww

North of the Border Foal Show. Mud. Foalies. Whites. Not a good mix. Must go out and buy an extra box of washing powder. Might I suggest Ace gentle bleach or vanish, or perhaps a campaign to be rid of this :- Stupid, stupid rule, with very little thought or consideration for exhibitors - dont they realise its scotland, wet muddy and pretty grim - must wear white phah!!!

beige is just as hard to get mud off of as white think everyone is just going to have to get used to the whites - i really dont see whats wrong with it

Whites to me is almost easier as you just bleach the living daylights out of them? I don't show sports horses but polo whites get pretty disgusting in Scotland in "summer" (ha ha ha)!
