LOL and they say size isnt everything. Good things do come in small packages ;D Coming from the lady, with the HUGE horse ETA - Jill said Lavender looks like a brood mare I have to say, I do agree with her Ah well good job we've not got a show coming up in a while ;D I've got to work her loads, so that I get fitter as well. As I'm unfit, I keep tensing up and banging on her back making her tense I've to do lots of slow work to relax her and on my comments sheet it says "she's not a racehorse"

As a spectator I thought everyone did really well. I don't know everyone's names but I'll tell you what I remember. Lavender always goes better after Granny Jill has had a few words with her. You could see the improvement as the clinic went on. Well done Lavender and not too much sweat!!
The smaller of the welsh cobs was lovely and reminded me a wee bit of Kenco around the face and was really nice in hand too. The other welsh cob was a sweet pony and looked like it wanted to please - and did!! I thought the advice that Granny Jill gave was good and will make this cob even better.
I loved the Arab. He had presence. When he was in the go round with everyone else he looked quite relaxed. I don't know if that was the rider making it look easy though. He looked a bit more tense when he was on his own but what a lovely pony.
The twins - what can I say. Dana and Princess did really well today. Dana, as usual, knows the show better than anyone - or thinks she does! I heard what Granny Jill was saying about Dana going to the voice and it's true. I want to teach my horse to do that. I thought Princess did really well considering she is only 5 and has never done that sort of thing before. She is going to be a pony to be proud of.
The part bred arab - what a well behaved relaxed pony to be proud of. Everything seemed to be no bother for this one.
I'm racking my brains to remember who was all there.
I remember the wee pony that looked like a Section A. It was so sweet and the little rider did a good job - I saw her canter. She was brave amongst all those big ones.
The Fells looked well - trit trot trit trot trit trot - smart and businesslike.
I was quite jealous and thought I would like to get something to show but I quite fancy getting Granny Jill's young highland to show in hand. I will have to keep in her good books - if that's possible!!.

A very successful day, I think! From my point of view, I didn't have to yell at any of you I saw a noticeable improvement in the way ALL the horses and ponies were going by the end of each session and I thought Jill was a fabulous teacher! May I point out that NONE of you disgraced yourselves, you all did really well and Jill wasn't really that scary (other than when I got into trouble from her ) A huge thank you as well to the other Jill for being a huge help all day and for being official photographer! I will type up the general comments that I wrote down and post them on here so everyone can have a gander

That was brilliant. Jill looked so offended when she made that comment as well, priceless
