Is anyone going to this? I'm tempted as there isn't much dressage on at SNEC in October so it would mean we could get out and compete but I don't really like Jumps as a venue - the warm up is really dusty and the surface isn't the greatest especially when you compare to the likes of SNEC. It's also more expensive - £10 for the warm up and £12 for the qualifier plus £2 first aid fee - £24 seems like quite a lot considering! Not sure what to do

LOL I thought about maybe trying a medium there!! IF we are ready. How was your lesson last night? TBH that is the going price for dressage.

I only pay £9 @ SNEC so I was surprised that Jumps were more expensive - who are we kidding anyway - I know fine well I'll go for it - Jumps is so handy! Lesson was ok - we are both a bit rusty after not schooling for nearly 2 weeks (I've not been well) C has also turned into a yeti so was sweating really badly but getting him clipped this week so should be ok for our next lesson!

HA HA you should see the half pass - doesn't like tooking the way he is going!! Katie tortured me last night - sitting tor for ages!! Then cheeky madam told me to try medium trot. I am sure she is trying to kill me. Afraid I collapsed after X and looked over and Katie was almost rolling on the ground laughing!
Had a great time this morning though - went over to ride Ted (Katie's boy) who is at Inter 1. I am sure he was humouring me but we did half pass, changes and pirouettes!!! It was an amazing feeling. He is such a good boy and just kept doing as I asked and when I got it wrong he just made it up anyway. His changes are amazing to sit on just swing your legs and away you go!! Oh and I can't count either!!

Ooh sounds lovely Jackie - it's nice to sit on a schoolmaster sometimes and let them do all the work! Well I was surprised that you do need to ride them too. Still need to use leg etc - loved the pirouettes though - really fab feeling ;D All I could squeak was "Am I doing it?" Poor Ted must have thought I was mad
