our wee cocker moss got his man bits off on tues and we have been told to keep him quiet for 10 days - how??? anyone got any tips i have been using the cage when we are away but when in the house he is doing circuts and playing with oddie i am tempted to let him run outside in the field rather than lead excersice only at least outside he isnt turning sharp and slipping on the floor

I dont envy you, - but I would follow your own instinct you will know whats best for him - bit like the vet saying after 6 months box rest " dont let him gallop round the field". Im sure you will sort it out

he is a total nutter we have had a few cockers and i know alot through work but he is by far the crazyest one i have come accross, makes poor Oddie seem quiet!

If its for his own good then keep him in the cage and on a lead otherwise. We had difficulty with our terrier after beig spayed but after she developed a fluid swelling from jumping up we restricted her completely. Felt cruel but she healed quicker and safer.
