Just came from Ingliston. Jill Grant has managed at last to get BD to agree to a change of venue.
The regionals will definitely now take place at Ingliston Equestrian Center, Bishopton on the following weekend, 9th & 10th March.
Ingliston are more than able to take the championships and Jill only got agreement for the change tonight.
Anyone needing stabling overnight call Ingliston 01505 864363 and speak to either Lindsay or Karen.
Please spread the word around the dressage community

I wonder how Jill grant managed that after all the letters went out to say it was cancelled and they could not get a venue. I would have thought our RDO should have been more active, rather than a member

Jill was still on the phone at 19.30 tonight, she's now based at Ingliston. The RDO has been less than helpful apparently

The joys of BD....i really don't think they should have rescheduled after telling everyone that they were cancelled, it sends a confusing message and makes them all look pretty stupid. It is great that they are on again, but how sad that its such a mess

At least they are going ahead and everyone will get a fair shot at qualifying!!
There is not going to be any warm up classes but they are doing the arena walk thing where there will be time allotted before the class starts for everyone to walk around the school.

well I had ridden both horses by 9:15 am this morning and it was rainy and wet this afternoon, so I was bored. Ed and I went to see how to get to Ingliston Stud for the Regionals next weekend. Wow its a fabby place and the indoor arenas and all the facilities are great. The toilets, lots of, work and were lovely and clean. The cafe oplace looks very nice indeed and again very clean. I met the new owner and his brother who took time to explain ther plans and intoruce themselves to me and welcomed us to the new venus. What I also liked was I went to the stable block to try and hgiveTiger a pat on the nose and was stopped and asked politely where I was going and that the stables were out of bounds etc. Now if I had a horse there I would be really chuffed that the owners were looking after my horse well

I'll escort to into the stables to meet Tiger next weekend Lesley.
Ingliston is a beautiful center and we're very lucky to be stabled there. The staff are lovely, very professional and look after Tiger very well. They are very hot about security and next weekend the area where our horses are stabled will be completely blocked off with restricted access.
The building work is scheduled to start in June and be finished for the end of September. The plans are fantastic for the new entrance and revised restaurant, bar, comfortable sitting areas and open fires. There are permanent show stables and new lorry parking with hookups toilet and showers blocks. Ingliston will become the best quality show center in the country. Paul's mantra is "Not the biggest, just the best" I can't wait!
