Somerled got 63% in N33 with list 2 judge in Test Training, I was pleased enought with that, I wasn't myself at all (been sick for last week) & Somerled new it We took Ithel to his first dressage of the year, he did the baby classes, and he got 1st with 70% (he got 8 for his paces and an 8 for his right canter depart ;D ) then he got a less exciting 64% in his 2nd test and got 2nd (he'd lost his sparkle by then & the owner forgot the schooling whip ) Warm up for the first test did not go that well as the livery horses were galloping around the fields so we got a very funcy Piaffe display at one point ;D his rider is really improving, she did a fab job with him, they are both building up confidence in each other, so very proud of them both tonight. Benistar & Peter looked although I can't say the same about Fred a wee groom wouldn't of gone a miss ;D

hey pp - fred got a polish and was 2nd in both elem tests - thought he went really well but judge was marking hard - i have done worse tests with higher marks got 58.7 & 58.8 but think they should have been higher but never mind he was CLEAN and SHINY by the time we went in and had a long day standing about waiting - so had plenty of time to GROOM him - we didn't go in the areana till 3.30 for our first test and had been there since 9am for peter - will let benisastar tell you about him but he was a good boy

hey pp - fred got a polish, he was CLEAN and SHINY by the time we went in GLad to hear it ;D ;D you know what judging like, 58 is good especially if the judging was hard, well done & I think we all deserve a pat for even bothering yesterday, it was hardly the weather for it
