Kermie, no idea what raven oil is, but it blacks them out - so perfect for that 'blacker than black' look. Have never used it on anything other than legs though.... Do you buy it in saddleries? I don't think I've ever seen it, but given I've got black ponies, is it something I should learn to use?

Highlands' saddles tend to slip about enough as it is without adding baby oil into the equation!!!!

Kermie, I honestly don't know where we got it, I just got given the bottle and told to use it! You might find it in a fairly comprehensive saddlery

I like the alva products as well they seem to be gentle as my mare is allergic to almost everything except this

I'm trying out the Lynne Russell stuff out too for work, I'm really impressed so far, used the coat shine and Onipony commented on how shiney Jimbo's coat was tonight ;D Used the hoof spray too, fine for clear hooves, not for Lav's hooves, as she needs a black varnish ;D

I used the coat shine on carys today and she has still got quite a winter coat so i sprayed her all over after i bathed her and what a difference also really like the mane and tail stuff, the surgical shampoo and gel are good too not sure if i like the bottle the shampoo is in good for if you just want a small amount to wash a small area but a bit fiddly.

Used the Mane & Tail Stuff in a thin bottle, that was supposed to be good for coarse tails on Jimbo's Frizzy mane, wasn't that good for his Afro, going to try Frizz-eze and bryl cream, failing that hair straightners! Aren't you all glad, we test these things for you! Lynne Russell Shine gets a thumbs up from me ;D

Carys mane is major thick and it controlled it nicely and gave a lovely shine and her tail was in loose ringlets sprayed it on left it for a couple of minutes and it brushed through lovely.

I tried the Lynn russel stuff a few weeks ago too, it was good but I don't think it was much better than Alva stuff and the coverage wasn't as even on a thicker coat, I really like the fine mist that alva gives. Although on the other hand I find alva too expensive to use as per instruction, I always use the cheapo stuff after rinsing whilst still wet then use alva for the finishing touches

Does anyone know how to use the Supreme Products shine sprays? I won a hamper from them ages ago, included in it was Spray & Shine and Coat Gloss. Apparently Im meant so seal the hair with one of them before spraying on the other. But when I did this, it seemed to make the hair rise! So Ive been scared to use it since. Ideas?! They're Sparkle is great for manes & tails though.
