Hello, I am a new member and wonder if any one can help. I wondered if anyone knows of any ridden hunter classes that will be held in Fife or Tayside this year. Just basic novice classes to get my boy started. He is a large hunter and rising 10 but very novicey due to a long lay off as he had Chronic Grass Sickness in 2001. So he acts like a 5 year old. Any info would be appreciated. Hope I am in the right message board as I am a novice to this site.
Many thanks Pammy

Hiya Pammy! Welcome to the madhouse If you check out the Calender (top of the page, third from right) there will be some shows on there - I'm not sure how far the mods have gotten in doing that Otherwise, there are a good few hunter people on here from your area who will be able to help!

Forgot to say, most shows, both local and county, will have hunter classes of some description.

Hi Pammy, there are plenty of hunter classes in the fife region ;D Davida show is coming up in April at Dabbs the schedule is available www.davdor.com/ or click on our calender at the top of the page, it gives details for all the agricultural shows, like Fife and Central & West Fife, amoungst many others ;D We would like to see pictures of your boy ;D Glad to hear he got through grass sickness, such a terrible disease.

The calender is all up to date as far as I can manage. There are Riding Club shows that have various classes in the Tayside and Fife area. Also as others have said there are agricultural shows which hold hunter classes. The Davida show has a novice class which would be good to start with.
