When is it NOT appropriate to show your horse under a particular judge? I think the fact that I am having to ask, suggests that I should already know the answer! And I have been at shows where stock bred by the judge has been entered in the class ![](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k173/Lavender11_2006/Scottish%20Showing/booo.gif) However, I'm desperate to get Magnus out, but his mother's previous owner (albeit 10 years ago that I bought her) is judging our Riding Club show classes, so presumably it is improper for me to show him under her. And I narrowly avoided entering a show where the owner of his daddy was judging last year. What is show etiquette in terms of showing under particular judges? Can I enter HC or is there not much point? I'd like to get him out and about socializing, but unfortunately, certain choices of judge aren't making this very easy for me!!

Phew. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that my pride isn't too hurt when he isn't placed very highly/at all. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
