It's on Magic's quarters around her hip - you can see the feathering to the left of it. It's massive - literally about the size of my hand. Any ideas of what I can put on it to keep the cream on, but stop her rug from rubbing it off. Obviously needs to be something that won't stick to the cream

Poor pony Only thing I can suggest, is applying cream then putting a bit of gauze on with surgical tape, so that the rug doesn't rub it off

Ask for something like melonin, which is a non stick dressing, there's a few different ones on the market. Poor Magic

What cream are you putting on it, is it Camerosa as that does stick on quite well. No it's the stuff that Bailey from SR sells - she sent me a couple of sample pots cos she likes me! It's supposed to work really quickly, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ouch, what did she do to herself? She did it on the way to the SR clinic Zoe. She doesn't like the trailer and has been getting progressively worse. She also managed to put a hole right through a travel boot and cut her foot On the way home, I put her on the left side of the trailer instead of on the right - she travelled like a lamb so I think I have the problem sorted now....unfortunately not soon enough to prevent her baldy bit.

Oh poor girl. Ive used that Pro-Equine Oil for hair regrowth and its done wonder, think its called Neem Oil (how bad is that i sell the stuff!)
Peri is a really bad traveller as well, but we put him in the left side and he travels a lot better now. He used to throw himself against the side of the trailer, legs everywhere, and once i saw him sit down. But since going in the left side he seems to be able to balance himself better, and hes a lot less stressed when going to a show.
I also bought a couple of camping sleeping mats off Ebay, which i roll up and stick to the side of the trailer just for extra support, works a treat.

The other good news is she will be fine by the time the shows start up. ;D I hope so Lesley. But first show is less than a fortnight away now, so I'm still a bit just in case. I'll feel much happier once I see some hair growing in.

i have bumpsters in the lorry for wiz as he isnt a good traveller they are brill you can put as much air in them as you like saves knocks if have a strop Yeah I've got them too. We use them when Amy is travelling as she likes to lean on her bum and rub her tail I don't think they would have worked in Magic's case, cos she was leaning on the internal partition which was moving and that was causing her to panic. I think problem is now solved by ensuring she travels on the left in future.
