No such luck. All winter we've been lucky and avoided the worst of the weather but now, on the first weekend of spring when I'm spending the day working on the lorry, we waken up to... and it's still snowing. i'm glad I'm not judging today.I'll be lucky to get up to the yard Oh well, our time had to come, let's hope for a quick spring thaw.

We're the same. I'm just off to see if I can move the car. Kept 3 ponies in last night so they will be waiting for some hay. OH is away just now typically so I'll just need to do some digging and hope for the best.
I can see one dent in our snow on the road, so obviously someone has managed to drive on it.

Same here as well. Likewise we have been lucky and for the most part missed it, but it is vile this morning, blowing a blizzard.
I have left my four in at night ones inside , I dont think they would have appreciated being chucked out this morning. Maybe think they want out, but they'd damn soon want in again.

Luckily, my two are in at night anyway. YO is keeping the youngsters in but chucking Mun out for a while. Rho & I are going to try and get to the yard at lunchtime. Apparently the transport system in Glasgow has ground to a halt. 3,000 people had to be put up in temporary accomodation last night. My daughter is stuck at a friends house in Erskine with no way of getting home.

I'm stuck too Lesley! I'm not turning Annie out cause I'm certain snow will ball badly in her bar shoe, and I'm not risking her loosing one.
But she's all cosy with a thick rug on, tons of haylege, and seems perfectly happy inside, while her fieldmates are huddled at the gate looking miserable!

Well I made it to the yard and back in one piece - although the driving was bit hairy at times.....thank goodness for 4WD!
OH phoned to say Glasgow Airport is closed so he is probably going to be spending another night down south instead of coming home today - just as well it's at his employer's expense!

what a great film that is, I loved watching it when I was little. National velvet is good too.
