I am not a happy person.
My little sister took on this cob as a favour to the person who was very unwell.
This person has made a fantastic recovery and I was really pleased for it. At the same time she talked of my sisters horse sharing becoming a more pernament thing, mentioning both easter and summer holidays TO my sister.
Then suddenly, she phones out of no where and says she dosn't need her to ride anymore.
THEN yesterday, JEnnifer was up at the horse with me, and coincidently enough was the woman and another person. It became evidently clear this was someone else she was trying out as a horse share.
As you can imagine, my 14 year old sister was rather upset about this. I can perfectly understand ok the woman wasn't happy with Jennifer. Thats fine. But she got her hopes up so high then shattered her completly. She disappeared (I was on Annie) and when I returned I found her distraught in Annie's stable.
So I'm not a happy person. It was all I could do to not go and yell at the woman right then.

That's a shame Emma. Poor Jennifer. She helped this woman out when she needed it and she deserved a bit more repect than this. Some adults need a dose of good manners.
She has the right to have whom ever she wants riding the horse and maybe she prefers to have another adult but she could at least have explained this to Jennifer.
No wonder Jennifer was upset, give her a big hug from Mun & I.

I do know she has the right and as a horse owner I can understand that, I'm just angry at how she treated Jennifer.
However got a phone call from my friend Anne just now. Jennifer is going to be competing her pony Dina this summer, but this wasn't expected to start till the end of may. Apparently the pony is doing so well shes aiming for the first show to be the end of March, so wants jennifer up to begin riding asap.
Strange how things that seem bad can turn good.

I hope Dina is a nice horse that can knock spots off the cob - that will teach the silly owner to be so short-sighted.

What a horrible thing to do to someone, especially someone whos just young.
Good news about Dina though and best of luck to her.

What a really nasty thing to do, at least she has another horse to take her mind off things, am sure she will perk up soon!!
