I sold my first Fell nearly 2 years ago. I had owned him since he was 5 and he was 13 when I sold him - wasn't an easy decision; it took me 18 months to finally decide. The person who bought him is lovely and she loves him to bits. However, her marriage broke up last year and she's now decided to emigrate to Canada so Cody is up for sale. I wish I could afford to buy him back, but I can't. He is the one in a million type. He doesn't like showing, but he gives oodles of confidence and is such a sweetheart. I'm giving his owner my full support in selling him because I understand why she is doing it, but I feel like I am going through it all over again - it was hard enough when I sold him 2 years ago.

I will mention it to my YO as you know she was quite interested in him when you had him up for sale

I've already had a couple of members from Saddle Up PMing me to ask questions, so hopefully he will still go to a good home. I know I did the best thing for both of us by selling him, but you can't help still caring!

What a shame Kermie. At least she let you know why she has to sell him I know he'll find a good home.

Its a tough time, but at least she has involved you so you have some control over where he goes. Hope you find a fab home for him.

What a shame we're lucky in that the only horse we've had to sell (he was possessed by the devil ) has gone to a fab home, much better than we could give him. At least you're still in touch with the owner, and she's spoken to you about the situation - many wouldn't have. Its nice for her to involve you like that Hope you manage to find a good home
