I watched the Kur on Tuesday night - Charlotte and Blueberry's test was spellbinding. Miles ahead of any other test!!
The Puissance last night was great, the Italian guy was so cheerful and the way he was giving his horse treats constantly was lovely.

So great that its on council TV this year I've been twice - once with a friend who qualified for the Veterans, one of my proudest ever moments was riding Mun in the international arena in morning exercise with the likes of John Whitaker and Nick Skelton and another time whilst i was visiting a friend in London. Its a super show and on tv you don't get nearly the sense of just how close you are to the competitors in the arena. Loving the tv coverage!

Great coverage, although the commentators came out with some twattish comments at times, but that often adds to the amusement!
The Andalusians were truly amazing, but a shame they didn't give even just a wee snippet of either showing championships, but I can see why not as most of the viewers would find it confusing and/or boring......... it do you think that with it being red button that the vast majority of viewers will be horsey?

I didnt see the Andalusians sadly. I thought the coverage was excellent - i only have Freeview but the red button stuff was great. I could do without Andy Austin though! Re showing, given that they have only just started showing dressage as a 'mainstream' sport i'm not surprised that showing isnt aired - its much more of a niche viewer. Dressage is only just becoming something the public enjoy watching, and though die hard showing fans would want to see the showing stuff, even a lot of horsey people find it boring, never mind Joe Public
