Would love some suggestions for how to store wet and dirty rugs.
I have a nice big box that I keep my clean rugs in, but looking for thoughts for the grotty ones!

In my mother's garage Probably not so handy for you as for me though Before they get transferred to garage ours usually get chucked in the corner of our haystore, but it really depends on how much room you have. What about big black bags?

For wet rugs I just put up coat hooks and hang them up by chest straps or the clip for attaching hoods I hang them so they are full length, of course I would love the proper rug drier . . . . . .keep on dreaming lol.

My own mothers garage isn't particularly handy (or water tight) never mind yours! The hay shed is really quite small and doesn't have much ventilation so wouldn't want to bring anything damp into it.
Buster I'm not tall enough to hang my rugs up without most of them ending up on the floor!

I have big chunky hooks in each yard and they hung by their neck end ( again full length) and are then mainly dry for going back on next day. Always hang them in same order as the stables so if I am not fully awake in the morning I can just start at one end and the first rug should belong to the first horse, the second rug to the second horse and so on! My liveries leave their horses in the same rugs night and day .... so that makes life easier for thembut although it is more work I like to my horses in stable rugs at night

We have rug racks and they are now high enough off the ground to hang Teds full length (7ft3 rugs... When did that happen?!) so I fold Tedlets in half and sling them over the top. It does work pretty well and they are mostly dry for the next day as I do like to change his rug over to his stable rug

Mines don't wear rugs!! If they do, they're hung up on my feed shed door, which is a converted stable/pen, which has a massive swinging door on it

I'm another who doesn't change rugs, a) I hate it and b) I always find they are still damp in the morning. I ring if they are left on come morning they are bone dry
