..housework! What do you love/hate - if you love any of it Since i got my own place i have turned into one of the obsessive compulsive cleaners you see on Ch4 - this is not helped by living with two boys who seem oblivious to mess, and a long haired cat. I love a sparkling tidy house and am particularly obsessed with a clean kitchen. However the one thing i detest and would happily pay someone to do is ironing. I avoid it as much as possible and do it to the bare minimum standards. This is another reason i would love to not work - i would never have to iron another pair of trousers to look semi smart during the day

Housework? what is that? I would love to have a clean and tidy house like my Mother's, but with 7 dogs and coming in and out with horsey clothes and boots, anything that is done is undone within hours so unless I am having visitors I often find it hard to get motivated enough to do much other than basics. If ever I could afford help I think it would for the house rather than the yard.

I don't even own an ironing board and didn't own an iron until relatively recently when Jamie moved in. I loathe housework. End of!

I enjoy house work once I get started as love seeing the end product but like others it is not high on my priority list also with having 6 dogs, a cat and an OH who all tramp through the house with out wiping their feet any house work is immediately undone.
Must admit I hate ironing I use the tumble drier just take items out whilst warm quick shake and fold perfect IMO lol

I like things to be put away and love it when it all looks tidy, hate hoovering made worse by the fact my Hoover is feeling poorly at the mo ( shocked by the price of a decent Hoover) with kids, dogs, horses and useless oh it feels like an up hill struggle though. Not keen on ironing but kids uniforms for school need doing.

I used to have OCD about tidiness but as I have aged I finally realised that its not worth stress the time is better playing with ponie, dogs, friends etc. I love to cook, I hate cleaning the bathroom. Sadly I still cant leave the house without making the bed, it bothers me all day otherwise :-( - the rest of it - who cares!
