It's too frosty to get down the lane to our field to turn out so let the boys out on the yard.....here's Selwyn looking like butter wouldn't melt.....after he had got up to mischief!!

hes lovely my big boys have been out every day in the frost and ice and snow but my poor wee welsh old boy cant go out as he gets lami every winter and this year im determined hes not going to get it - wee shame - its to thaw tomorrow though so hopefully he will get out soon

He's gone out to play today and he was ready for that!!! I hate keeping them in but it was far too dangerous to get down the lane on the ice.....still he's managed a leg stretch on the yard everyday, better than nothing I suppose. How's everyone else managed?

My field gate is really close to the stables so I just put a trail of straw on the ground for them to walk on over the ice. M glad it's thawing now though

You're lucky Bingbong!! All our mares live out all year round a mile from home but the boys are at home and we have to negotiate fast traffic on two blind bends on a narrow country lane.....not good at the best of times, but too much for me to cope with on ice!! I'm not right good on ice......my legs just go stiff lol ;D
