Was so thrilled for Lynne Crowden and all at Woodlander Stud to hear that their unbelievably wonderful mare, Farouche, scored an almost perfect score of 99.6% to win the 6yr Old International Apparently, one judge even said that if there had been a score of eleven, Farouche would have been awarded it!!! Can't wait to see some vid of this amazing test - but to keep you going in the meantine, here is vid from Verden 2011...

She is amazing.
It is quite funny to read the reports about her dam and her dressage career, in every article she is "the dam of Farouche"!!

She is amazing. It is quite funny to read the reports about her dam and her dressage career, in every article she is "the dam of Farouche"!! On that point HNS, I also had a little giggle at one young colt now being advertised as "half-brother to the dam of Farouche" ! Will be busily checking the pedigrees of my gang for any tenuous link to the mare ;D But so pleased for Lynne, and her having bred the dam of Farouche too, she is now beating the continentals at their own game with her incredible depth of knowledge of bloodlines. (It also goes without saying that anyone breeding needs a good helping hand of luck also) - Lynne also told me that she just needs to figure out how to breed another Farouche, lol!

www.allbreedpedigree.com/woodlander+farouchehey FB - she has Donnerhall so has Enya lol! www.allbreedpedigree.com/sienna+fbalot is also to do with how they are produced, they need someone really talented to bring out the best, i am sure there are loads of horses out there that could have gone to much higher levels in the right hands but they will be happy and healthy doing lower level stuff and as i was told years ago but a wise person at the end of the day horses have no sense of ambition they just want to be loved and cared for most of us just have our horses for enjoyment and competing is the wee extra bit i would rather have my guys happy in the field
