Hi can anyone recommend which class would be best for my TB mare. I know she wont ever be a top class show horse but just need guidance on what classes I can do? Big change from my usual M&M's .... She is a real novice although she is 11 she has done absolutely nothing! My uncle bred her, broke her and was a field ornament for a number of years, now have her to have a bit of fun. I am currently trying to slowly put weight on her and she is a bit unbalanced as shes not done anything for so long. *Forgot to mention she is about 15.2* Her dad - www.sporthorse-data.com/d?i=626675Here she is (not the best pictures - but gives you an idea)

I'm certainly not a "horse" expert, but I would say small riding horse or small hunter depending on how she moves....and whether she suits a blingy browband I imagine she could do one of the intermediate classes too.

without seeing a full body photo, I would say riding horse, as few thoroughbreds would have enough bone for small hunter. Good luck with her and hopefully we will see you out in the ring soon

Thanks for your replies. I wouldn't say she is your typical TB she is very laid back in general but does have a bit of "attitude" when getting schooled just now but I think that is down to the luxury life she has had before doing nothing so shes a bit in shock. She is in no rush to come out but will try and get her to a few outings this year ;D

A definite departure from m&ms!
A full body shot would help but from what you have given probably Riding Horse but at RC level you could try that and Hunter classes to see how she goes. Not forgetting RCH and Workers too.
