I am currently exploring my options and considering sending my mare away to be brought on a little and start getting out to some shows this year. I was wondering if anyone knows any good producers and an idea of how much they would charge? She is about 16.2hh, 4yr old, lwt hunter/ rising horse type. I have always produced my own horses so this is a new avenue for me and I don't want to get stung, hence all advice is appreciated!

Depends how near you want to keep her. Within Scotland I would say Richard Telford (East Lothian) or Kirstine Douglas (Dumfriesshire) or possibly Charlie Cousens (Midlothian) who though mainly ponies, will occassionally have room for a horse.
If you are happy to go further south I would highly recommend David Froggat in Lancashire ;D

We have used most of them with mixed results as you are too far away to keep your finger on the pulse, try Holly Miller she is nearby and a beautfull lightweight jockey. we have recently used the Emmersons with great sucess also Jerome Harforth. RAEMOIR STUD BANCHORY
