Iv never done showing in the winter before and I'm prepairing for the workers at sandy flat s. Do they allow for some fluff? Lol I'd rather not shave his legs as I'm findin it a good mud barrier. Also his clip stops at his head as he just wouldn't tolerate it and kept wiggling out of the twitch! So will the judge mind too much? As long as he's cleanish and plaited?
Thanks in advance.

A little (or even a lot) of hair is fine for winter shows ;D I cannot speak for the judge at Sandyflat but I know that I much prefer to see horses and ponies with their leg left on, there are very few that have enough bone to look good with their legs clipped out, and always think they look so cold! Neat and tidy (and plaited) is all that is required, as you will be marked on your jumping performance, ride and conformation. Look forward to seeing you there
