Welcome to the forum What a nice little horse (big pony?) I am sure I recognise his name, was he shown with previous owners? He looks to make a really nice shape over a fence and you look like you have also worked hard to have him going very nicely on the flat, so you are a good bit on your way to doing workers already ;D What height is he and what age are you? I assume you will be doing BSPS 153cm/Int workers rather than horse workers?

Hi Rosevale welcome to the forum i know this horse very well i was to buy him as a foal from his breeder Sheila Anderson from the Blackisle but unfortunately he cut his leg when they were loading him so she didn't want to sell him until he was better, by the time he was better i had moved away. He was with Sarah Ross up north and now you have him. good to see and hear how he is

Thank you! He's registered and passported as a 153cms and I'm 18 And dodgy that's really interesting. I know of his past owners but always wonder what he's done up until I got him. He's such a character, can't have had a bad life anyway. Do you still keep in contact with Sheila?

Hi Rosevale unfortunately Sheila sadly passed away very suddenly a few years ago now. She lived on the blackisle and bred many top class horses and ponies

With your age and pony's height then you are obviously eligible for BSPS 153cm & Intermediate WH Horse classes usually state 'exceeding 148cm', so you can do them too, although your wee horse will need to be ridden by the judge for that class. Some of the the 'horse' people dont like being beaten by ponies and are trying to move for an exceeding 153cm rule I will have a Worker Show at Sandyflat RDA in February with Novice and Open classes BSPS classes and also Horse classes. If you are not sure of how much he has done in the way of workers with previous owners then the BSPS at Sawtry will be able to send you a print out of his results for you to see if he is eligible for Novice in either 153cm or Int or both
