Well since my last thread didnt really get me any replies (thanks to those who did) I thought i would try again with pics as I would rather turn her out properly. So here are some pics, This is Stella or Robbies Skye, a Welsh C x Dales. With mane before pulling Now with mane pulled So I take it the top of the tail needs pulled and the feathers need to come off the same as Kia???

I think probably people didn't reply because it's difficult to give you an answer LOL! As someone pointed out, part-breds are usually shown plaited and she's kind of in between 'types'. Really hard to know what you would show her as? I think she's possible a little heavy on bone to compete against PB welshes and I think you will struggle to show her as a PB Dales? If she was heavier you could possible show her as a cob type but again, she will probably look light and small compared to the cobs!
It's a shame she's not coloured....

Hmmm her legs are fine underneath the hair so no cob showing I dont think shes kind of like Kia in that respect not really a class for her!! She does have a fabulous jump on her I am going to have a bash at workers with Eowyn what about having a bash at M&M workers???

I think if she has a good jump in her then pointing her in that direction is a good idea, although for most M&M jumping again you are talking about pure breds. How about just general WHP? How big is she?

Small hunter maybe with feather and chin trimmed off :-) Quite hard to make suggestions without seeing her in the flesh and see her moving. Just enter classes and ask for feedback from the judges see what they suggest or if you have lessons with and instructor who is knowledgeable in that area to give their opnion.

I'm no expert but I think she looks better already lol shave the legs and chin, pull the tail, a wee bit more top line and get in the workers and small Hunter classes. But then I'm a show jumper so what do I know ha ha

I'm really struggling to place her in a show class Nikki Maybe with the feather off, plaited up and she can jump, maybe a 15hh worker Afraid I am too She can't do M&M workers as she isn't purebred. Possibly plaited workers but to be honest I think she would be in amongst a more athletic type in these classes which will probably go against her. If showing at local/RC level I think the best bet is to take off the feather, plait and have a bash at part bred classes, there is also riding club classes which has a jumping element so maybe ideal if she has a nice pop in her

LOL I seem to collect inbetweeners dont I ;D Well tail and feathers will be finished and i think I will take her to a local show and take her in PB, RCH and small hunter just for the experience really, but then i never aim for rossies or results I jsut like competing Suzie just wants her to have a comprehensive experience in everything incase she doesnt keep her
