Best thing to do is to get along to the RHS and have a look at the Fells there or, failing that, the Breed Show in August Where do you stay? I've got a few Fells that I would like to think are reasonable show standard.

Plenty of bone. Good straight feather. Good feet. Deep bodies. Well set shoulder. Action should be very active - hind legs doing as much as the front. Like most breeds the ones that do very well are not always the same as the one's that do very well in hand - depends on the judge. Carrock I'm Yer Man was one who did very well both. Check out their website and you will see some very good fells bracklinnfellponies.co.uk (Not that I'm biased )
