Endurance is a perfect way to ride across countryside you wouldn’t normally get to ride on, following a marked route. It is an fantastic way to bond with your horse and have an excellent day out whilst also improving your fitness. It makes a nice change away form the show ring, keeping your horse sweet. You need no special tack nor clothing (aside from an up to standard hat of course), just what is safe and comfortable for you and the horse. For a full list of rides in your area please see www.scottishendurance.com and look at the ride omnibus. Our next pleasure ride is at Seacliff nr North Berwick, East Lothian on Saturday 28th and is an amazing ride – lots and lots of grassy canter tracks and the longer pleasure distance of 20km (12 miles) includes the most fabulous beach. For more info and entry forms, please see www.seacliff160.webs.com or email me at kak103@hotmail.com. Cheers ;D

We have been to Seacliffe a few times for a beach ride and BBQ courtesy of Mrs Gladys Dale and had a ball. Horses loved it and beautiful beaches too.

I would love to try, is there much in Aberdeenshire? Also do you need to open gates on any of them?
