So I have my new horsey and I need to find a bridle that suits him. I plaited him up and popped Jeff's on as it was ready made up with a Show Pelham to see what it looked like so I could see what sort of bridle to go for. I have a while to get him a show one as he won't be out In-hand till June and Ridden till the end of July at the earliest as he is currently on box rest due to an injury sustained in his last race. I think he defo needs a coloured browband as I think he will finish as a Riding Horse and he will need a thinner noseband. I'm also thinking to go for slightly thinner leatherwork all round to be honest as well. What do you think? Please excuse the dodgy band plaits! I was working with a mane longer than normally would for bands plus he was being a fidget! If these come up big I will go fiddle with them, on a new comp and not figured it out properly yet!

I agree re the coloured browband but I think the thickness of the leather work is fine, anything too fine and it will get lost on his head.

My opinion, for what it's worth The thickness of the noseband is spot on, but I'd opt for slightly thinner cheeks and throatlash

Ditto Lav, IMO that thickness of leather clutters, what is, a very pretty head.

I would say stick with what you have If anything slight thicker cheekpieces but i'd see what he looks like with the coloured bb first
