i actually have my saddler on stand by for making a side saddle - but i've told him it will be in about 5yrs once a) i've decided i like it b) i've saved up for it (would be M2M for HRH as she needs quite a banana shaped tree and SS's are often very flat aparently!)

Webby doesnt give much lesson info but if you go to the pricing section, go to private lessons then its there as Side Saddle half hour lesson £29 :-) They are lovely if you even want to call and speak to Mrs Comrie about it beforehand

Shirley Justice Vose is Ayrshire but I'm sure she used to travel to give lessons. Also she hires out saddles and habits.

I booked shirley justice years ago to give my daughter side saddle lessons. The first lesson she forgot about. The second lesson she appeared at noon when my daughter was at school and the lesson was ment to be at 4pm. The third lesson she did come. The fourth lesson, no contact and no show so sorry i would no recomend her.

I know this is an old thread, but if anyone wants to have a side saddle lesson, Heather Carstairs runs them at Easterton farm, Blackford. Heather is very experienced and has several school masters to use. She is a qualified instructor.
