lol = just make sure you'll have breaks - imho better to over bit a bit (esp on first time out!)and have light contact than be arguing/loosing control to be honest i use whatever necesary hunting to have a light contact - nothing worse than spending the day having your arms pulled out... luckily with HRH that means keeping lozenge snaffle and just tightening her drop up by one hole lol! but i have had hunters before who i've had to use all sorts of bits on....

And I cant believe this - but I cant come now I applied for a Saturday morning Photography course at college - I didnt get in cause the course was full - they just called me and advised I can have a place cause someone has dropped out. Guess I must have been at the top of the list for replacements. This is just so bloody typical - Im happy to get on the course but I wanted to go hunting. Its only a 5 week course so I have to attend. Sorry guys - maybe next time

Does anyone know if you just turn up? There is no need to register or anything - I gave Liz a call though just to go over times and stuff but she didnt take my name or anything and said just to show up

I would LOVE to give this a go, but I'll be on my holidays, do you think they will do again this year for newcomers?

hevs - great news you can make it Thanks hun - Im totally excited ;D As long as I dont put Arion behind Nik and her crazy whizzy ponios, I wont be taken off with at breakneck speed - we hacked out together the other day and she went tanking off in canter on Kia and Arion went whooshing off after him - and he does a good job of keeping up with him when hes going full pelt too. If I stick him behind a slow tubby cob type we will be just fine cause he wont try and overtake, hes happy to stay behind something ;D
