ignore this! they've not had enough local support from land owners and have had to pull the plug on it

are you sure it wasn't something to do with the huntsman being arrested since he was on the run?!

Does anyone know if there is going to be any hunting in central scotland this year?
I'd really like to try it but all the hunts seem to be closing down!

Thanks Rowan - is it a nice friendly hunt? I've never been hunting before and neither has pony. I'd probably be aiming for one of the early ones before it becomes too fast and furious!

The best thing to do is to contact the Secretary (Liz) and explain that you would like to come to a meet, and that you have never hunted before. I'm sure she will suggest a meet that will be suitable for your first outing, she's very friendly & helpful

They bought the Hounds from the Kingdom Draghounds and within a matter of weeks the poor creatures went from well cared for dogs to skinny wrecks. Not sure if any were put down or not but they most certainly all got taken away from the Huntmaster. Thus the Hunt disbanded as they had no hounds to hunt!

It was reported differently in the Horse & Hound..... www.horseandhound.co.uk/news/397/299965.html
