So so super excited as I've just bought my first dressage saddle on Ebay. It's Black Country, like my GP saddle. I was just wondering though... what size of girth am I likely to need?! Do they all have different lengths of girth straps etc? I need it for my 17hh ish WBs. They're not big chunky WBs. Any help much appreciated!

They come in different sizes the same as normal girths do - but smaller ie 24" or 26" etc. Also can depend on how long your girth straps are on your dressage saddle. I ride Toby in a 26" girth so would expect you to need one a good bit bigger

I have a 17hh Oldenburg who I have a dressage saddle for and he is in a 36" dressage girth. Saddler told me that was the largest they did dressage girths anything bigger and i would need one made

aparently as a ball park figure you take off 20" from their normal girth length honey's is 48 normally so i should have bought her a 28".... but i saw a too good to miss deal on a 30" jeffries on ebay ;D so she has that for her dressage saddle fits her fine (you'll see it on my showing piccies on FB )
