Well we ventured out to this dressage event today - had a minor disagreement with Road workers who stated the road was closed but I decided to move the cones and continue Petal (4yr old) and Fingal (hippo) did the restricted - ended up 2nd and 5th. Very pleased with both jockeys - Westfield and Devon - well done girls. We really don't do much dressage so maybe we may go along again - watch this space ;D

Well done Effiebox - did you have the bay? I think I saw you in the warm up. I went along too and have to say the roadworks were a pain However a good day for me and Dom too - did the restricted class HC as we have already won this so used it as a warm up and was delighted with our starting class - got a whopping 86.66% (think the judge was being quite generous today!) and my friend's horse came first. In the open class, have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my ride and I was super pleased with Dom - got another whopping 86.26% and place. Still smiling now ;D

Yes Summer I have the bay that was working in with Westfields riding and the "dirty" grey highland. Like your "clipping" on ponies quarters - would love to see what a judge would say if I did that for the show ring - or maybe it could start a trend!!!!
Well done on your results. Feel greenfields is a wee bit harsh as 4 yrs old got 2nd so now has to do for the rest of the league the open section- rules are rules though I suppose.

I know what you mean Effiebox, I placed myself out of the restricted on my first time there, but I still go in it HC as it gives me a warm up and the experience and judges comments are still useful Oh and the name stencil on his bum is for winter only I whip it off for showing as I am sure it would raise some eyebrows ;D ;D! Keeps me amused when I have the endless task of several winter clips ahead of me for hairy boy
