I am considering taking Casper for our first ever hunt outing on this date - by all accounts the first hunt is a bit gentler - this ground is mainly flat and jumping is optional.
There is a rear group that is not jumping and good for beginners - I believe you are able to switch groups during the hunt and you can turn back whenever you want if your horse is not fit enough for the full hunt.
I know there were quite a few people on here who expressed an interest in this - would anyone be up for meet up?

We got bumped from the pick-a-fence at Tyningham on Sunday so we might come out with the draghounds on Sunday. Can you tell me where the meet is please and where to park? Also is it the done thing to phone the secretary and ask if you can go or does everybody just turn up?

The meet is at South Kilduff, about a mile and a half off the Kinross M90 junction. Postcode for satnav is KY13 0PN. There is ample parking down at the farm and no need to phone anyone, just turn up and have a good time!

Thanks Eleanor. Hopefully will meet you tomorrow. No sat nav I'm afraid but I will google map it. Fingers crossed the weather will be like this and my pony will not disgrace me or stretch my arms too much.

The next hunt is on the 8th of November and its back at South Kilduff for the last time this season as Lucinda needs to keep her fields suitable for working the racehorses on.

hi - I see there is a hunt at titwood on sunday by kingdom draghounds - although it isnt on their website. I am planning on going - although will be going in the group at the back as I havent been hunting before and just wanting to take it steady - I am getting excited and a bit nervous about it at the same time hee hee Is the "pink ladies " group as fast ?

The hunt this Sunday at Titwood isn't actually organised by the Kingdom Draghounds. Maybe its the name of the place it is being held at? The Kingdom Draghounds next hunt is on Sunday the 13th of December and will again be at Kilduff. As it is there again I assume that they are struggling to find new ground to "hunt" over. So if anyone knows of any nice farmers with land that they wouldn't mind people galloping over in Fife and Perthshire then give the hunt secretary a buzz as KD gets a bit repetative after a while!
