Well, that's it all over for another year I was down at the Show for the full four days and whilst I felt very dog showed out last night having had a hellish drive home, I'm feeling very exciting about the dogs I have to campaign this year (both my own and for others). We had a very mixed show results-wise however our new (English) Pointer dog "Face" (aka Afterglow Bare Face Lie at Kanix) was second in yearling dog which was the biggest class in the breed on the day (25). We got Face last August as he was very very nervous and having done a lot of work with him to have him fly around the ring absolutely loving it nearly brought a tear to my eye ... okay, well, it did, but don't tell anyone Here are a couple of photos of him: Waiting to be judged: Being judged by international all rounder and TV commentator Frank Kane: And on the move:

Thanks everyone He is a beautiful dog - even though I am biased - and we have had some amazing compliments about him (including various people wanting to buy him however he's not going anyway, especially not the USA!). We got him last August because he was very nervous, to play about with and see what I could do, as he had qualified for Crufts but since the qualifying show he never enjoyed showing at all and always had his tail down and was worried about everything. I can safely say that seven months of bl00dy hard work definitely paid off!!!
