I used the liquid yesterday on Sylvie, but have to say I was a bit paranoid about splashing her legs with the water. I didn't and she is fine. I'm not sure it was that effective, think the vinegar and bicarb I tried did more good !
Will have a go with the soap next time.

I've not tried the liquid but as you know I'm a big fan of the soap. I'll need to get a new bar to start the season.

Couldn't get Vanish soap and Mun's tail was still brown after two shampoos. I used the Vanish pre wash stain remover spray instead. WOW.....as I massaged it into the hair the brown stains just lifted off. I avoided the dock as I don't like anything strong near the skin. Left it for 10 mins, rinsed thoughly and finished with blue shampoo. Amazing results.

Do you mean two lots of shampoo during the one wash or two separate washes..... got some of the pre-wash stuff at lunchtime so wondered if you washed Mun's tail THEN used the pre-wash stuff

I had washed his tail the day before with two lots of shampoo and his tail was still brown stained although it looked and felt clean.
I used the prewash stuff neat the next day onto his dry tail. I used a full bottle but it was worth it. As I said, you could see the brown staining just lift off . I left it for 10 mins and then rinsed it out. I couldn't believe how white his tail came up. The blue shampoo just got rid of the rest of the vanish and gave it extra bling.

I use the Vanish Oxi-action White powder.
Put a scoop full into a bucket of hot water and immerse tail and leave on for around 5 mins.
rinse out then apply blue shampoo
do this with the white socks as well but I get Bertie to actually stand with each foot in the bucket of hot water ;D
