since no one is posting results I will make a start
Enya (Sienna FB) who we bought at 6mths from Flyingbuck stud is now 4 and out competing (something we never thought would happen )
I took her to her first comp which was dressage and she had to go hc but would have won the prelim class - silly to have had to go hc but I have bd points and it was a pony club thing and they use different rules, she had a really good % I think it was 63 something would have to go and check
next comp was at the cabin I wimped out and got Colin Hamilton (who backed her) to ride her there, he did a prelim and was 2nd to his own 5yo and had 65.?% I think again would have to go and check
he then took her in the novice she had got a bit tired (it was a long day) and so had Colin he rode 6 tests on 3 different horses in under 2 hours she didn't do rein back as she hasn't learnt it yet and wrong legged it but managed to get 58% which I think is pretty good for a first attempt.
we then did waulkmill dressage - with me on board, 2nd in one prelim and won the 2nd one, both % were in the 60's but would need to go and check again exactly what I got (sheets are in the lorry!)
next up was fountain dressage, I took her this time it was the first time she had been there, the first prelim was outside and she went lovely and was 3rd (2 folk tied for 1st on 64%) we had 63% ;D
and then went inside and boy did she take a dislike to the mirrors or what lol!! she went round like a giraffe spooking and snorting like a crazy thing, but if that is her at her worst I can cope didn't get a good mark it was 56.??& but I was happy with her, forget she is only 4!
so this weekend I went and did waulkmill, did P15 and got 3rd with 70.4% and I did my first novice on her N22 and got 69.6% she was so so good, waulkmill is like home to her though so she is really settled there but I was mega happy she is just ace
not competing her this weekend not sure if I am going to do Ladyleys the following weekend or not depends if I am needed to help out at a SJ comp but she is entered for the young dressage horse classes at Rowallan in June and I have fully affiliated her now so it is hopefully novices most of the time now (hoping Colin will take her to a few more before Rowallan as he is riding her there for me )
