I am an IW fan - as said before tried and tested. Parts are cheap, easily obtainable and they are simple but strong. I actually loved the look of Tamstouch Equitrek, but then I didnt tow with it but I thought it looked smartHaving had 2 510s and now a 505 I cant fault IW for parts, servicing, advice and easy towing.

Not keen on Equi-treks for towing. Personally prefer the old style Ifor Williams 505, very sturdy, more stable for towing and much better build quality than new style IMO. I've just become the proud owner of one of these

We bought a new 505 classic just before the design changed and I much prefer it to the 506

ive had a 505 a 510 and 2 different equitreks and it really depends what your needs are. Yu cant beat an Ifor for "does that it says on the tin" practicality. I loved my equitreks but you need a hefty towing vehicle to pull one safely. They are handy for getting yourself and horse ready on those rainy days but if your already used to standing on one foot in the back of the trailer trying to get youre clean jods on and ifor does the trick

I had an IW 505 classic before Kenny and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to one of them again. I was very happy with that trailer, Toby travelled really well in it and it was easy to tow and IMO seemed better put together than the newer models that IW have out now I ended up selling mine for exactly the same as I bought it for new 2 years previously - so really hold their market value !

I've got a IW 505 Classic too and love mine. I'd heard way too many bad stories about the new 506, so opted to just keep my trailer. I've looked at the Equi Trek trailers, but they seem very heavy and although my discovery would tow it no bother, the extra weight means yet more money in fuel, which lets face it is already horrific!
Not much help I'm afraid!
