I've been on ebay to look for elastic to tie my number on but there are so many to choose from and I have no idea which one I should buy. It varies from elastic for bracelets (can't see that lasting if I bent over) to tent elastic cord Could someone point me in the right direction please the last lot I bought was from one of the showing websites but who knows where I've put it. Thanks ;D

I just use elastic from a dressmakers, or John Lewis I need it next week and have neither John Lewis or a dress maker that would have it up here Without seeing it, I'm not sure what thickness I would need. Have had a look on showing selection so will get it there, thanks

I was going to suggest Showing Selection or Designer Browbands! I usually get from them, as I can never get the right thickness I like from a dressmaker.

What colour do you want, as I have heaps of the thin strong type and will happily post you some if I have the colour you need.

What kind of knickers do you wear?! well - either the "harvest type" all is safely gathered in or the extreme opposite - all is left to hang out!!

Thank you so much Sparkler, that is really kind of you ;D ;D I honestly would not put you to the bother, I'll be fine with some plaiting thread for now......... the judge probably won't be looking at what I have round my waist anyway........more likely the shocking riding and the badly behaved horse
