Hi all........... Please everyone keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!! My 5 yr old rottie was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 weeks ago........... Without treatment he had 2 weeks to 2 months to live, he's such a beautiful boy, heart of gold He's now had his 2nd chemo session & vet is please with how it's going. So hoping for a good remission! All this on top of my bay cob of 22, he was diagnosed with aortic & mitral valve insufficiency before Xmas. Followed up 4 weeks later with heart attack whilst in field... now too dangerous to ride so he's retired. But at least I've still got him!!! Love them both to bits.......

What a shame, i kind of know what you're going through- my beautiful Gordon Setter was diagnosed with lymphoma at xmas there, unfortunatley he was already stage 4 and my vet didn't think chemo was an option as he was already so advanced so we had him home to love him, spoil him and say goodbye and he was PTS at home on 5th of Jan. Hope your lad continues to respond well to the chemo and you have loads more time together, my fingers are crossed for you both! Sad news about you cob too, a very worrying time! Sending lots of good vibes!!

Thoughts are with you peanut and hope the chemo will pull him through or at least give him more time and quality of life - isn't veterinary medicine amazing at times to think a few years ago we wouldn't have had these options for our pets.
